AYURVEDA

Providing both curative and preventive measures for optimal physical, mental and spiritual well being.  The word "Ayurveda" is from the ancient Indian language, Sanskrit and literally means, "Knowledge of Life".  Ayurveda utilizes simple dietary, daily routine and therapeutic techniques to help you gain optimal health and wellness naturally.  Beginning the process of implementing Ayurveda in to your life is as easy as a one, three or five day cleanse.  Cleansing is a gentle process that is individualized to address your specific health concerns and customized to fit into your lifestyle. 

YOGA THERAPY

A therapeutic practice utilizing the adaptation and application of ancient yoga practices to enhance physical, psychological and spiritual well being.  An Individualized approach for chronic pain, injury rehabilitation and injury prevention.  Benefits of yoga therapy include, reduced blood pressure, reduced heart rate, increased mobility and decreased anxiety and stress.  The overall feeling of wellbeing associated with Yoga Therapy makes it an appropriate modality for all ages, including children and the elderly.  Highly effective for ADHD, PTSD, Fibromyalgia as well as Depression and Insomnia. 

SUSAN GRIEGO O'CONNOR

I am an Ayurveda Wellness Practitioner with nearly forty years experience.   As a health educator, I am a firm believer in the health benefits of Ayurveda.  My understanding of Ayurveda is fueled by a continued passion to help others gain balance in their lives naturally.  I specialize in women's health issues as well as mood disorders.  In addition, I have had great success treating skin ailments such as psoriasis and seasonal allergic reactions.  It is my belief that all imbalances of the mind, body and spirit can be effectively addressed and alleviated with Ayurveda and Yoga therapy.
